TVCogeco
TVCogeco TypeSubsidiary of Cogeco CableFounded Varies Headquarters Burlington, Ontario; Trois-Rivières, QuebecIndustryMediaTVCogeco is the brand of community channels owned by Cogeco Cable, many of which share common programmes. TVCogeco broadcasts into the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec. Some channels broadcast in both the English and French languages, often on separate channels.
Programming on the channels are produced with the assistance of volunteers. This programming was created in response to CRTC regulations which previously required that cable companies produce local content (this is no longer required but strongly encouraged).[1] This requirement does not apply to satellite providers and is the main reason that cable providers can claim to have more local coverage.

Programming
In partnership with Rogers Television, TVCogeco in Ontario provides comprehensive coverage of the Ontario Hockey League with all shows being available only on cable either on the local station or all OHL games as part of a package. Quebec systems air Quebec Major Junior Hockey League games, in partnership with Videotron.
TVCOGECO's programming is more that that of just the OHL. TVCOGECO provides community access programming and community oriented programming. TVCOGECO also provides community members a no cost electronic bulletin board service, located on our local cable channel and web site, where you can post public service announcements regarding the activities and events of local non-profit agencies.
TVCogeco's production facilities in Burlington and Hamilton each year jointly produce coverage of all non-network televised home games of the Canadian Football League's Hamilton Tiger Cats.
TVCogeco stations
All TVCogeco channels are available to Cogeco Cable subscribers on the basic tier (also known as Basic Cable). As well, Digital Cable subscribers can catch other TVCogeco channel programs through Cogeco's "Free On Demand".

This channel also serves the communities of Caledonia, Dunnville and Cayuga.
